Resume Tips

Here are some tips for improving your resume:

1. Use an easy to read font. Even though you may think you are being unique, it is very frustrating if you use a weird /new font type on your resume. You should stick with Arial, Verdana and Gill Sans MT. For further reading, check out: http://www.resumetemplates-usa.com/Best-Font-for-Resume/

2. Tailor your resume to the job and company you are applying for. If you submit your resume to several jobs and custom tailor your resume to each, you have a big advantage over your competition. Try to highlight your skills and experience that show that you are the perfect match for the job.

3. Show that you are qualified for the job. List your education and work experience that showcase your qualification and skillset.

4. Be concise and Professional. Try to keep your resume profession and direct to the point as much as possible.

5. Proof read your resume before submitting it. You can also ask your friend, family and colleagues to read it over.
